About Us
New Wave Physicians Group has served the North Houston community for nearly 20 years, providing affordable primary care for patients of all ages. Our team of internal medicine and family medicine physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants offers acute care, chronic disease management, preventive care, geriatrics, well-woman and men's health, and in-house services such as lab, ultrasound and diabetic foot care. We also run a Direct Primary Care program so uninsured patients can get the care they need.
About the Role
We're looking for a compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our primary care team. You'll assess, diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions for about 15–25 patients per day. The role centers on preventive care, treatment planning and medication management. Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred so we can better serve the Spanish-speaking families in our community.

Our two clinics, in Spring and on Veterans Memorial Drive in Houston, bring together internal medicine and family medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
We offer acute care, chronic disease management, preventive care, and annual wellness exams. We specialize in managing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and thyroid disease. Patients can also get lab work, allergy testing and immunotherapy, diabetic foot care, and ultrasound and Doppler studies in-house. We also provide well-woman care, men's health, hormone therapy, weight loss support, acupuncture, and IV therapy.
We believe everyone deserves good care, so we offer a Direct Primary Care program that gives uninsured patients affordable access to their own provider. Our mission is to put patients first. Our providers take the time to listen, explain each care plan clearly, and build lasting relationships with the patients and families they serve. Every decision we make starts with what is best for the patient.
